I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy. Remember: Wash your hands, Don’t touch your face.
This past week I have been preparing for remote learning. The first week, beginning tomorrow, March 30th, will be similar to the first week of school in the sense that we are getting used to some new routines, procedures, and technology. Please help to make sure that your child is able to log into the main websites we will be using and to make sure technology is working as it should. The following week, April 6th, will be new instruction. The district has provided a guide to getting setup here.
Here's how communication will work during remote learning:
- Daily/Weekly Assignments and Schedules - Google Classroom
- Questions?
- Students may post questions as comments on Google Classroom assignments
- Email: [email protected]
I am trying to simplify things by using ONE website as our main hub: Google Classroom. This is where your child will access weekly schedules, daily schedules, and assignments. Please make sure that your child can successfully log onto Google Classroom and to their Clever account as there are links to many of their accounts. This Monday morning (TOMORROW!) you will be able to access the schedule for the week. Starting Monday, April 6th, you will be able to access the schedule for that day.
I understand that our schedules look a lot different nowadays! I miss being in the classroom already, and I miss all of your kiddos. I am doing my best to provide meaningful work, and I know that your children can still be successful - even remotely. This is temporary, and they are resilient! If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to me via email.
Fondly,
Debbie Bamberger
