Students brought home with them today a few things that they might use over the break to "keep the learning going"
- black writing notebook - the spot to capture "small moments" and even to add more to our current informational writing
- blue reading notebook - a good place to make notes to help keep track of your thinking as you read
- book bag full of student-selected books - because you can never have too many books!
- Keppel Library book(s) - see above
Students also have their online accounts:
- i-Ready - math and reading targeted at your child's level
- Khan Academy - math lessons
- Newsela - articles written at your child's level, with great (and short!) online quizzes
- Typing.com - a fun way to improve keyboarding skills
- Code.org - computer coding lessons
- Scholastic News - the archive has back issues and great videos
- Prodigy - math lessons through game play
- Google Drive - you can start a new writing piece or a collage
As of this writing, school resumes for students on Tuesday, March 24th at 8:00am.
