- feeding lines (you read all the parts except for their lines, so they can practice coming in - you will need the script for this, which is perfect as students are NO LONGER using scripts)
- digging out your old boombox or other tech to play a music CD - kids asked for the music and so my son burned 25 copies over the weekend - your child now has their own copy in their folder to keep and use at home
- finalizing costume - see Costume Ideas sheet, generated by the kids, that came home today; homework tonight is to finalize a plan with parents; students will bring their costume to school in a handled bag on FRIDAY for a costume check (meaning, I'm checking to see that everyone has a costume to wear --- whatever you and your child have worked out will be just fine!)
- looking over Possible Props list that came home on Friday to see if there's anything you can contribute; please send to school TOMORROW
Make sure that you've got Monday evening clear - kids arrive in the classroom, in costume, at 6:00pm (Virginia gate will be open), and the performance for families and friends starts at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. The show is going to be GREAT! Thanks, as always, for your support.
